Spencer was the product designer for my tiny engineering team of 4 who brought Calm B2B from zero to one in less than two months. His expertise and ability to empathize with internal Calm Business account managers, our calm customers, and future Calm Business partners helped us find solutions to clarify the experiences of what became today’s partner portal and the Calm Business user onboarding flow.

The B2B offering was in its nascent stage, and Calm’s B2B offering was still maturing. Spencer’s ability to listen well, ask great questions, and rapidly mock up ideas for feedback helped us quickly converge on the different B2B product offerings.

He helped us figure out how to allow account managers to configure complex partner contracts in the partner portal. He also supported the engineering team through many quick iteration roadmaps by creating staged designs, which was super helpful in aligning our deliverables cross-functionally. Together, we shipped Calm B2B’s first version of the platform, which continues to lend itself to the growth of Calm Business as a product and platform.
